I am a Speech Language Pathologist in an elementary school setting. My students range in age from 4-8 and are between pre-school and first grade. We are a Title I school, meaning many of my students are low-income. We try to keep incorporate as many hands on materials and experiences we can to help develop their vocabulary and provide them new and exciting experiences. They really enjoy playing games and interacting with their peers in small groups. They especially LOVE technology; the iPad and Promethian board. We always try to come up with new activities and games to play in "speech class" that can help develop their speech and language skills.
