Students are needing to practice social distancing in the classroom. Kindergarten in my district will be 100% face to face. It has been recommended that students should be grouped in 4's. This is the group that they will learn and spend their day with in the classroom. I currently use desks in my classroom and need tables. I am hoping this will limit exposure and cross-contamination. Desks are constantly moved and skewed throughout the day during activities. Students also like to touch each other's desk and straighten those desks to be helpful and thoughtful. Tables will eliminate the desk movement.
