Because of your generosity, my students are using the items we purchased every single day, and they have truly become a part of our learning environment.\r\nOne of my favorite moments has been watching students gather around our new supplies during class projects. Whether they are working through a sewing assignment or participating in a food lab, these resources have made learning more hands-on and enjoyable. The comfy chair at the front of the room has quickly become a special spot—students love using it while they focus on detailed sewing projects or simply when they need a calm, comfortable place to reset and stay engaged.\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, their reactions were priceless. There was genuine excitement and curiosity, especially when we introduced the cake decorating kit. During our Valentine's Day project, students made heart-shaped cakes and eagerly explored the decorating tools. It truly felt like they were opening a treasure chest. That level of excitement carried over into their work, and I saw increased creativity, confidence, and pride in what they were creating.\r\nThe new mixing bowls have also become a classroom favorite. No matter what we are making—pancakes, chocolate chip cookies, or other recipes—students are eager to use the new equipment. These tools have helped elevate our food labs and make the experience feel more real and professional for them.\r\nAnother meaningful addition has been the ability to offer snacks when students need them. On days when they are especially hungry or having a hard time focusing, having something small available has made a big difference in helping them stay engaged and ready to learn.\r\nAs we move forward, my students will continue building on these experiences through more advanced projects. In our current lessons, they are expanding their skills in both sewing and food preparation, working toward more complex designs and recipes. With the resources you provided, I am able to create opportunities for them to apply what they've learned in creative, real-world ways, helping them build confidence and independence.\r\nYour support has not only provided materials—it has created excitement, comfort, and opportunity in my classroom every single day. Thank you for investing in my students and helping make our classroom a place where they feel inspired to learn and create.","fullyFundedDate":1768496052480,"projectUrl":"project/help-mrs-harp/10012939/","projectTitle":"Help Mrs. Harp","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Harp","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10402878"},{"teacherId":5624733,"projectId":9300460,"letterContent":"I cannot say thank you enough for your generous donations to my classroom project, \"SEEing the Language!\" Former students and current students have expressed a sense of wow as to the difference these tables have made! They have made a significant difference in the classroom environment! Replacing the traditional student desks and adding the round tables has opened up the room causing it to seem bigger than it is. This has allowed me, the teacher, to easily walk around and interact with every student. \r\n\r\nThe students, sitting in groups of 4-5 has fostered a sense of community by creating a classroom environment where students feel safe to express themselves, ask questions, and take risks. This ensures everyone, regardless of their background or differences, has an equal opportunity to participate in discussions and learn from each other. \r\n\r\nThe informal arrangement of round tables has established strong \"small communities\" within the larger classroom setting. Students have connected, signed to one another, and have collaborated to achieve given assignments or tasks. I have observed students treating one another with kindness, empathy, and understanding.\r\n\r\nI love teaching high school students! The tables, chairs, and new classroom arrangement have been a game changer for my classroom.
