It has really opened the conversation to differences (including physical and developmental) are normal. \r\n\r\nI was able to talk about and introduce my son's physical disabilities by sharing two of the books you provided. There was no \"EWWW IT'S A FEEDING TUBE\" but we were able to instill compassion and understanding.\r\n\r\nI was able to open a discussion about our Autism unit downstairs and explain that not all brains work the same (and that's OK!).
