Greetings! I am currently a fifth grade teacher at an inner city elementary school. Our school has a positive and inviting environment offering many district programs to support student success. We are a district-wide Traditional Magnet School, which means that any student can apply to attend despite their geographic location in the city, and transportation will be provided by the district. Through the collective efforts of staff, parents, community, and our Family Resource Center (FRC), students receive a well-rounded education that meets their diverse needs. Our shared vision is to equip students with the skills necessary to lead successful and productive lives; thus ensuring that they are prepared for college and/or the career of their choice. I hold myself and my students to high standards and expect that we all do our best every day!
