I have started a rotation daily, so that everyone gets a turn to read along with the stories. My students are learning basic reading skills, as well as following directions and completing tasks independently. I cannot thank you enough for helping to make sure the listening center became a reality for our classroom.\r\n\r\nAlong with reading and independent skills, my students are learning social skills with their peers. Sitting around the listening center with others is helping students to learn tolerance of those around them, how to have better personal space skills when sitting around the table, and sharing. They're having to take turns pressing play, which is a big deal to everyone. Hehe. Everyone wants a turn to press play on the cd player. The listening center and books have brought an immense amount of joy and has enhanced my classroom in many ways. Thank you! Thank you!
