There are many learning applications that can be used to bolster student interest and skill retention. From the center activities to bolster phonics that pair with the reading standards, to my district's recommended math practice websites, there are many opportunities to be utilized. Utilizing research-based practices in a high interest student scenario, such as the employ of technology, will foster retention and learning, and every child is anxious to "play" with an iPad! Therefore, the funding of this project will allow each child a few minutes to work individually, in their comfort zone, daily and grow academically and socially. Some educational platforms and programs vary from the PC to mobile version, which is an added element of excitement to those already savvy with technology.
