We have really hit the ground running this year with our 3d printing. Our printers our running basically all day and we leave them running at night when we leave. This air filter has already made a great difference in our classroom. We usually use a basic filament called PLA, but students also enjoy printing with TPU, which is a rubber like material. While we have a variety of filters, today the new filter really came in to save the day when a student needed to use a carbon fiber based filament for a specialized part. It was actual an amazing way to end the year. I had a student who needed a piece for his lawn mower, so his brother used a CAD software to design the piece, the student then brought it in to modify and print.
