Your donation of a reliable classroom computer has made a world of difference for my hardworking and resilient fourth-grade students.\r\n\r\nMany of my students face significant challenges in reading and are working below grade level, still building essential foundational literacy skills like letter recognition, letter sounds, decoding, and fluency. Because standard fourth-grade curriculum materials often skip past these foundational basics, having a dedicated classroom computer allows me to bridge the gap. Technology in our classroom acts as a bridge to personalized learning it gives me access to interactive phonics programs, visual supports, and differentiated literacy interventions tailored directly to each child's specific learning level. Whether during small-group instruction, targeted intervention time, or whole-class lessons, the computer delivers engaging, accessible reading practice that meets my students right where they are.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most about this new technology is how interactive and encouraging it is! Instead of feeling overwhelmed by traditional grade-level textbooks, they are thrilled by interactive games, immediate visual feedback, and multi-sensory activities that turn skill-building into an exciting accomplishment. Learning foundational skills feels like a rewarding challenge rather than a struggle.\r\n\r\nThis new resource has had an exceptionally powerful impact on our most hesitant and struggling readers. Students who previously felt discouraged or self-conscious about reading are now eager to participate. One of my students, who used to shut down when faced with decoding difficult words, has completely warmed to the interactive phonics programs. The private, self-paced nature of the computer activities gave them a safe space to practice without fear of making mistakes in front of peers. Seeing their confidence grow as they master skills they once struggled with has been truly inspiring they are now beginning to realize just how capable of success they really are!\r\n\r\nThank you again for giving my students the tools they need to build confidence, make academic gains, and develop a lifelong love of learning.
