The student mailboxes, seat pockets, and construction paper divider are great for student accountability and responsibility. Not only has it been helpful for students, but it has also been very helpful for myself and my instructional assistant. Since students are used to the routine of using these items, they are able to do so independently and this allows for more time for myself or the instructional assistant to be assisting students or getting the next activity's supplies out. The mailboxes also allow for me to put papers for students to take home in them instead of putting them at each individual seat. This is a time saver and creates a system where students know to check their mailbox everyday before going home. \r\n\r\nStudents are able to be more effective learners with having their materials right at their seats. The name tag on the chair pocket has made a great place for students to scan their Clever badges with their iPads and get right to work. They keep their iPad, headphones, and name tracing practice in their chair pocket for quick access. This has eliminated some of the time for students waiting to get their items. It has also made things more tidy in the classroom and students are able to quickly put away their items. \r\n\r\nThe construction paper organizer has also been very helpful with getting out specific supplies for projects. As a busy teacher, it is easier for me to just grab the color I need instead of having to sift through them to find the correct item. I can also tell my students to go over to the divider and get the color they need. \r\n\r\nOverall, these items have been so appreciated and will be used for years to come. I know it will benefit myself and my students. They are great quality and I cannot wait to see the positive impact they continue to bring.
