With the materials I received I have been able to better engage my students with hands on activities in various lessons. My students have used the colored chips in various math acitvities and enjoy getting to choose different colors. I found some engaging mats that I used the chips with to help better engage students with math concepts especially addition and subtraction. The sensory writing pad has been a game changer for my Autistic students who have challenges with fine motor skills. The students are able to use their fingers and practice forming letters which helps build confidence and motor strength. My calm down area is now more sensory friendly and the students are really enjoying the new materials.
