Because of your contributions, my students are very excited about engaging in glass fusing with the new supplies and materials. My students have been able to engage with new resources that have truly enhanced their learning experience. Many of them couldn't wait to get started.\r\n\r\nThe students' creativity is really shining through. Students are working to collaborate and problem solve with this new media. I watched as they are taking ownership of their learning—asking deeper questions, helping one another, and showing genuine excitement about the work they are doing. \r\n\r\nIt made them feel valued and motivated, knowing that people they've never met care about their education.\r\n\r\nThese tools will continue to be instrumental in the art program and creating new skills for the future. Our next steps include building on the current project's skills by encouraging students to apply critical thinking skills. We're also planning to integrate the materials into future lessons to support hands-on learning and collaboration across other subjects.\r\n\r\nWe are incredibly grateful for your gracious giving. Students walked into the art room and their eyes were filled with wonder and excitement after seeing the new carpet for the first time. When students sat down on the carpet they marveled at how soft and comfortable the carpet was. The carpet will continue to impact students in the art room for years to come.\r\n\r\nStudents very enthusiastic used the Do-A-Dots. It has very quickly become their favorite art supply. The support of Donor's Chose has allowed them to experience many new Do-A-Dot colors. \r\n\r\nStudents were able to use the Do-A-Dots for many projects including: backgrounds for a landscape drawing, paper weaving to provide contrasting warp and weft strips and simply creating artwork with the dots.
