I was able to supply every student that could not fit a shoulder rest in their case with a bag to strap on the case handle. This has been so helpful and has basically eliminated students forgetting their shoulder rests at home or in their book bags. And for students that are borrowing a shoulder rest from me it allows them to use the same one each time rather than grabbing one at random and hoping it will fit. \r\n\r\nWhen the students got to school and saw the bags on their cases, they were a little confused because it was new to them. But when I told them it was for them to use for the year, they were excited. They appreciate the convenience of having the shoulder rest in the same place as the instrument. Now wherever they take the instrument they will have the correct materials to play properly. \r\n\r\nWith future projects I hope to acquire more bags for when i have larger classes and start to replace old cases.
