We have used so many of the supplies to create new art projects and have plans to use everything in the future. So far the paint bottles and glue pots have made class more efficient. I am able to give students their supplies quickly and more easily than ever before. My students were amazed by the glue pots when they first saw them. Painting on liquid glue is so much easier than using the squeeze bottles(especially for little hands)!\r\nMy 4th grade students made their own paper and will soon use the marbling ink to make unique prints. The paint pens will come in handy to add details to projects! My students and I are so very grateful that you donated to our art classroom. Students for years to come will use these supplies!","fullyFundedDate":1764440808461,"projectUrl":"project/new-opportunities-in-the-art-room/9574208/","projectTitle":"New Opportunities in the Art Room","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Carley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7109605_orig.jpg?crop=691,691,x614,y184&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1723220255379","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7109605"},{"teacherId":10161844,"projectId":9556436,"letterContent":"My students are using the new clipboard holders, water bottles, snacks, and outlet controls every day, and they have truly made our classroom run more smoothly. The clipboards have been a game changer during small groups and flexible seating time because students can easily take their work with them without losing papers. The water bottles and snacks have helped students stay comfortable and focused, especially during longer lessons, and the outlet controls have helped me manage our devices safely and keep everything organized.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, they were so excited. They immediately wanted to know how everything worked and were eager to start using them. One of my favorite moments was during writing workshop when students independently grabbed their clipboards, moved to different spots around the room, and got right to work. In the past, transitions like that could be messy, but this time it was calm and organized.\r\n\r\nNext, we are continuing to work on building responsibility and independence as part of our classroom routines. Students are practicing gathering their own materials, taking care of shared supplies, and reflecting on how staying organized helps them learn better. These resources have helped them feel more ownership over our classroom, and I can already see them becoming more confident and independent learners.","fullyFundedDate":1763067465923,"projectUrl":"project/creating-a-comfortable-engaging-space/9556436/","projectTitle":"Creating a Comfortable & Engaging Space for Young Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Kiser","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10161844_orig.jpg?crop=1284,1284,x0,y124&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754608687398","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10161844"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_57674","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":288,"numTeachers":25,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":5,"percentWhite":9,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":84,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":0,"gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"11.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":60.8,"schoolId":57674,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about John Fiske Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"John Fiske Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/kansas/kansas-city-kansas-city-public-schools/john-fiske-elementary-school/57674"}
