This upgrade has made a significant difference in our ability to create and document more engaging and memorable learning experiences. \r\n\r\nStudy after study has shown that color-printed educational materials have an impact on engagement, comprehension, retention, and mood. Our students are showing greater excitement about projects geared toward attaining vital Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Restorative Responses. To add, our ability to print students' representations in color has brought materials to life for them and helped improve their communication, productivity, and self-efficacy. One such project involves a student who wanted to document the reflection of her restorative experiences. She agreed to write a short story, and the process culminated into a 25-page short story that was printed as a 5x7 book. As each colorful page printed from the new printer, the student's excitement was incomparable as she watched her reflections of personal growth, accountability, harm repair, and the attainment of a plethora of interpersonal skills display in colorful images right in front of her. That student now wants to be a writer, and her English grade has improved vastly!\r\n\r\nAlthough our school does have a printer in the building, we are a small Alternative School, and we do not have enough flexibility in our budget for a color printer. Copy is black and white, and no matter how hard a student works on a project the result is black and white. Many of the students do not get very excited. Your gift has allowed us to print documents quickly, reliably, and colorfully, which is especially important for projects requiring multiple concepts, impressions, and presentations.\r\n\r\nWe truly appreciate your thoughtful contribution to our learning environment. Your support shows that you believe in our potential and are invested in our social and academic success.\r\n\r\nThank you, again, for your kindness.","fullyFundedDate":1727470882519,"projectUrl":"project/a-restorative-mindset-in-living-color/8630291/","projectTitle":"A Restorative Mindset...
