Each day, they look forward to the different activities, and it's been encouraging to see how engaged and focused they remain throughout each part of the rotation. Their active participation in every task has contributed to noticeable growth in a variety of fine motor skill areas.\r\n\r\nOver time, we have observed consistent improvement in several specific fine motor abilities. For example, many students are now demonstrating proper pencil grasp and improved hand positioning when writing or drawing. In addition, their cutting skills have developed significantly, with better control and precision when using scissors. We are also seeing greater independence and success in tasks such as zipping and unzipping jackets or backpacks, as well as buckling and unbuckling straps and fasteners.\r\n\r\nThese skills are essential for building independence and confidence in everyday tasks, and it's exciting to see the progress they're making. Overall, the fine motor rotations have been a valuable and effective part of our daily routine, contributing positively to the students' development.","fullyFundedDate":1740423151850,"projectUrl":"project/fine-motor-activities-for-special-educat/8909815/","projectTitle":"Fine Motor Activities for Special Education Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Erin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9819861"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_98887","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":650,"numTeachers":62,"percentFrplEligible":40,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":84,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":6,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"10.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":80.7,"schoolId":98887,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Eudora Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Eudora Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/kansas/eudora-unified-school-district-491/eudora-elementary-school/98887"}
