Every year a few teachers get their students together and have a little glow dance party for the last day of school. With the help from your donations we were able to have a school wide end of the year glow party. Each student received glow glasses, bracelets and tattoos. Our gym had glow in the dark decorations that were illuminated with their black light colors and everything was set off by the balloons. Each student was saying how awesome everything was and how it was the best day ever. Before field day each student got to color and decorate their own hat that they could wear outside to all the field day activities. This made it easier to spot our students in the sea of preschool fun outside activities. They love the water timers and the thread boards. Not only is it calming, but they can create something with the thread boards.\r\nOur friends now have a cozy place to think, and they have worked on their emotions. Your self-regulation donation items have been used by many kiddos who needed a safe area with calming objects to help them regulate and be ready to learn! \r\n\r\nI know these items will be used very often throughout the school year as children become dysregulated. Not only do these items help students calm down, they help the children learn how to ask for the tools they need when they become upset.
