Your kindness and willingness to support my classroom is amazing. I appreciate your generosity greatly! \r\n For the majority of my teaching career, I have taught kindergarten. When I found out I would be moving to fourth grade, my first worry was books. I do not have a lot of books that are meant for fourth graders. I knew I needed chapter books but wasn't sure how I would afford them. I took a chance and created this grant. I can't tell you what a relief it was when my granted was funded. I now have a classroom library where students can browse for books to read. \r\n Students get to enjoy these books during our reading block as well as free read time. My school has a heavy focus on \"Just Right Books\" and this grant has provided books with a wide variety of text levels for my students. There are books for everyone! \r\n Once again, I can't thank you enough.
