These new reading center resources will create a rich, learning environment that will help meet the needs of all students. Alphabet and Word Building File Folder Games are activities that kindergarten students can complete on their own. They will be able to get the most out of their center time with well-created activities. These activities will last for years and benefit many kindergarten students. Alphabet recognition and writing is so important to kindergarten students. Word and picture journals will help students organize their drawings from their writing. First, they will create an illustration. Next, they will attempt to use letters, sounds, and words to write about their picture. At the end of the year, they will have a well-organized collection of their work that parents will keep forever!
