I teach computer science, and I have jr. high and high school kids. With the donation of the 3d printer, we were able to upgrade from our old one. We are able to get 3d prints out to the students sooner. Something that took 4 hrs to make on our old 3d printer now takes us 1hr of print time, which gets our students our 3d creations quicker.\r\nMy JH students have been working on making personal keychains for themselves. They were able to print them out in different colors and different sizes, and they were able to get them while they were in class instead of waiting until the next class to get them. Our high school class is working on projects to make their daily lives easier. Some students have been making organizers where they can put their pencils and pens, and other little things in their locker so they aren't all over the place. Others have been making phone stands so they are able to charge their phones at home. There have been many more different things student have been making and printing out so they can use them in their daily lives.
