Our school has lacked resources to keep up with what students need to be successful in journalism. Donor's Choose has been such a life saver to help us get what students need.\r\n\r\nOur students have been creating content for our schools and our publications social media accounts using the mics. Before we had the mics, students would record interviews and we could barely hear anyone in the video- it was disappointing and I felt guilty that we could not provide what students needed to make their projects great. Now, when students record videos, the audio is loud and clear. It has been a total game changer. \r\n\r\nMy yearbook students love to take photos and we always run into issues with SD cards getting filled up when students are out taking photos. It is such a buzz kill when a card fills up and a student does not have another one to use.
