Thank you all so much for making this project a reality so quickly. Glow Day is such an amazing day in my kindergarten classroom, and my young students always get so excited for it. It is filled with fun learning experiences and honestly is just a great day for everyone! I love that they get to have such a fun learning experience and that they are having so much fun they don't even realize they are learning! \r\n\r\nThe rock painting kits are so fun, and they get to be creative and take something home with them. The glow in the dark cups can be used for building and creating towers also for our corn pong game. They have to get a ping pong ball in each of the cups to win. The cardstock has been used for building word games and to make number cards. Plus, all the extra lights help us light up our room for this special event. \r\n\r\nI truly cannot even thank you enough for this great learning day that they will never forget. Plus, many of these items will be able to be used over and over again for many years to come. They were so excited to select their new buddy. They had to promise to read to their new stuffed animal every day. They also got to take all their old stories home from the whole entire year in their very own Reading Bag. These are stories that they should be able to read on their own, so they will always have something that they can read at their level. The stuffies were so soft and cuddly and several said, \"It is so hard to pick because they are all so cute.\" \r\n\r\nOnce the animals were selected, they got their very own birth certificate and Bear Condo house for them to carry them home in. I had several family members contact me thanking me for making it possible and telling me that they are taking the reading assignment very seriously and have already been reading to their new Buddy! \r\n\r\nThank you so much for making this week the BEST for my kindergarten students. They love their new animal, and we are so grateful for the kindness of so many to make this happen! My young students love these soft and cuddly creatures. So, they are perfect to use as an incentive to make those great choices. Since it is the first all day school experience for most of our new kiddos, they are just figuring things out. By offering up these fun Squishes they feel the need to earn the reward. \r\n\r\nThese are used in combination with our Punch Card Reward system. You only get the punches on the punch card to earn one, if you are \"caught\" being good. For the kiddos first punch card prize they can pick a Squishy. After that the prizes are smaller, but it sets the kids on the path for success by offering an extra special prize for their first one. \r\n\r\nThank you for helping to make a difference in my classroom. They begged me to open the boxes so they could see what surprise was in store for them. The headphones allowed each student to take their test in privacy.
