My students were so excited to see and use the materials. \r\n\r\nI have several PreK students on my caseload, which is a first for me as an educator. I did not have many supplies and materials for this age group. We use the Little Spot of Emotion curriculum and materials regularly. The students love the emotion stuffies and they help students to put a name to the emotion they are feeling as well as identify coping strategies. Many of the materials purchased through your donations are used to help students cope with strong emotions. Kinetic sand is a favorite of students, use for calming down as well as a reward for hard work and good behavior. The preK students also enjoy cuddling with the weighted teddy bear and sloth to help regain self regulation. \r\n\r\nSpeaking of rewards, several items are used as incentives to reward students when accomplishing goals and exhibiting good behavior.
