The articles provide real-world context to what we discuss in class, sparking curiosity and meaningful conversations about what's happening around them and why it matters.\r\n\r\nThrough Time for Kids, my students are developing a stronger sense of global citizenship. These magazines encourage students to think beyond their local community and see themselves as part of a larger, interconnected world. The stories help them build empathy and respect for people with different experiences and perspectives.\r\n\r\nIn addition, the topics covered in Time for Kids promote critical thinking and awareness of social issues that affect our everyday lives. My students are beginning to ask thoughtful questions, share their opinions respectfully, and engage in discussions about fairness, equity, and making positive changes in their communities. I have been able to provide my students with a comfortable, safe space in order to ensure their success within the classroom. Students are able to utilize the fidgets funded through my project to decompress and reset. Some of the previous goals include: good behavior in specials, returning completed elearning on day 1, helping a friend, making a new friend at recess, befriending someone who seems lonely.\r\n\r\n\r\nWe have lots of buttons still to earn in the 80 days of school that we have left this year!!\r\n\r\nThe kids are super motivated to earn the encouraging buttons and work hard to achieve the current goals.
