I work with 29 amazing little people. Some can't write their names yet or even recognize them. I work in a very high poverty area. My school is a STEM school and we are dedicated to giving our students the best educational background they can get. My students are eager and hungry for knowledge. Kindergarten is the year it all begins and I set the foundation for the rest of their learning careers. They deserve the best that is out there so they can be ready for the future. As a building we focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Our goal is prepare our students for the 21st Century life skills to get jobs and have successful careers. We don't stop working with a child once they have left our classroom. They are our kids until they go off to collage.
