Each morning, they now have the opportunity to choose from sensory bins, building sets, puzzles, and creative play materials to start their day in a calm and positive way. These bins have helped students transition smoothly into learning mode while also encouraging teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity right from the start of the day. One of my favorite moments was seeing a small group of students working together to build an elaborate structure—they were so proud of what they made, and it set such a joyful tone for the morning.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their faces absolutely lit up. They couldn't believe these fun and engaging toys were for them to use at school! Many of them instantly gravitated toward their favorites—some loved the building blocks, while others preferred the sensory items that help them relax and focus. It's been heartwarming to see students who used to struggle with morning transitions now come in eager and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these materials will continue to play an important role in our classroom routine. They're helping students develop social-emotional skills, fine motor coordination, and creativity—all of which carry over into their academic work.
