Once I explained to the class how someone donated some special things for our class, they were so happy and could not wait for me to open the box.\r\n\r\nI opened the box with the ten frame pop it's. For their math center, each student received a ten frame pop it and they each will pull a uno card from the deck. The students had to identify the number on their uno card and count the number of pops as they pressed down to match their number card. This not only helped them identify their number but it also allowed them to use their fingers to press down on the frame to count. Because students looked forward to enjoying the art station, writing pads, and bean bags, they became more engaged and involved in the learning development.
