As we push to limit the use of technology and limit distractions, these notebooks provide a place for students to organize their notes, complete their assignments, and keep information organized to review. Due to many of my students coming from low income families, the assistance in providing the notebooks and other needed supplies has made this project come to life. \r\n\r\nWhen we first set up our notebooks, my students were excited to get all of their pieces put together. They were provided a notebook each, along with the dividers and table of content charts. They cut out the pieces and glued them onto specific pages to create a sectioned \"binder\" out of their notebook. The students took great pride in making sure they cut each paper out nicely and glued it down appropriately so keep their notebooks looking nice. After we set it up, they used the stickers and other decorative items to make their notebooks their own. It was great to see their creativity come out in their decorations. \r\n\r\nThroughout the remainder of the semester, we will continue to use the notebooks to complete the work and take notes over the standards they are expected to learn. The notebooks are very helpful for students to have their notes on the left and their work on the right, so they can reference the information easily. It also allows him to revisit concrete examples of work so they can build off of what they already know and grow academically. My students and I great appreciate your support in helping this project come to life. I feel these notebooks are helping my students stay organized and take ownership and pride in their work. Instead of simply reading about concepts, they are now building, experimenting, and discovering how things work firsthand. The electric vehicle kit has sparked meaningful conversations about energy, sustainability, and engineering. The mini robots have encouraged students to think critically and creatively as they explore problem-solving and basic programming concepts. The helicopter model has helped them better understand motion, forces, and design in a way that feels both fun and memorable.\r\n\r\nOne of the most impactful moments has been watching students who were once hesitant become confident leaders during these activities. They are collaborating, asking thoughtful questions, and celebrating each other's successes. The excitement in the room is undeniable, and it's all thanks to your support.\r\n\r\nYour donation has not only enhanced our STEM curriculum, but it has also inspired curiosity, built confidence, and shown my students that their learning matters.
