The materials have made our lessons more hands-on and engaging, giving students opportunities to talk, create, and connect what they are learning to real-life situations.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the new materials, they were excited and curious. Many immediately wanted to explore and use them, and it was great to see students who are sometimes hesitant to participate become more involved.\r\n\r\nOne special moment was seeing students work together during an SEL activity and encourage one another while sharing their thoughts and feelings. The resources helped create a safe space where students felt comfortable expressing themselves and listening to different perspectives.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue building on these skills through our current SEL lessons. Students will continue practicing healthy coping strategies, communication, teamwork, and ways to handle challenges positively.
