They've especially enjoyed passages from familiar names like John Green and Jon Batiste!\r\nStudents begin class with a short journaling session inspired by a passage and prompt from the text. These 5-10 quiet minutes have quickly become a treasured part of our routine. Many students have shared excerpts from their journals during our \"Free Share Friday\" sessions, and some have used their initial journal passages to revisit and craft into larger creative works. \r\nYour gift has helped create a culture of reflection and creativity in our classroom. Students are writing more freely and sharing their ideas with pride. This project will continue to impact many young writers in years to come, helping them turn the simple act of journaling into a lifelong tool for self-expression.
