Your generosity has given my Pre-K students hands-on materials that make learning to write feel fun, meaningful, and achievable.\r\n\r\nWe have been using the new resources during our small-group and writing activities to help the children learn how letters and shapes are made using **big lines, little lines, big curves, and little curves**. One of our favorite activities has been building **Mat Man** together. The children love using the pieces to create his body and then using what they have learned about lines and curves in their drawings and early writing. These activities are helping strengthen their fine-motor skills, body awareness, letter formation, and confidence.\r\n\r\nThe students were so excited when they first saw the new materials. To them, it felt more like playing and creating than practicing handwriting—which is exactly what makes these resources so valuable for young learners!\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue building those foundational skills and begin applying them more intentionally to **letter formation, name writing, drawing, and early writing experiences**. I am excited to watch their confidence grow throughout the school year and to see them go from experimenting with lines and shapes to proudly writing letters and their own names.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving my students resources that allow them to learn through movement, play, exploration, and creativity. They had to create a boat that would float in water and hold marbles. The student that created the boat that held the most marbles before sinking won the prize. My students LOVE using these items in our financial literacy class! The game of live has been a big hit. Having 6 board games, the students are able to work in small groups and use these games.\r\nThe play money has been a big help in all things money related! The students recently broke into groups and created their own storefronts. They had to decide on a store name, items to sell, and prices for each item. The hung their displays on the board and \"played\" store. The shoppers decided on what to purchase and the store owner had to count back the correct amount of change. For many of them, this was their very first experience with gardening, so having their own gloves, trowels, watering cans, and seed packets made it feel incredibly special.\r\n\r\nWe are using these resources to launch a classroom garden project that ties into our science lessons and social-emotional learning. The students are learning how plants grow, what they need to thrive, and how we can take care of living things — lessons that go far beyond the classroom. Each student planted seeds and labeled their containers, and now we're tracking growth, measuring sprouts, and recording our observations in garden journals.\r\n\r\nOne of my favorite moments was seeing the joy on their faces when they saw the first tiny green shoots appear! They immediately started talking about how they could share what they've learned with their families or even start small gardens at home.\r\n\r\nYour generous donation made this hands-on learning possible. You didn't just give us tools — you helped plant curiosity, responsibility, and a love for nature in my students' hearts.
