Data collection and documentation is a large, time consuming part of special education. Keeping good records is important for students, parents, and current and future teachers alike. New technology such as the Apple iPad and Apple Pencil has made data collection and documentation much less time consuming and tedious than the current way I am doing things which is starting with paper/pencil and transferring the information to the computer. Being able to do all of my data collection and documentation on the iPad would allow me to spend less time on paperwork and more time on actually helping my students meet their goals.
