The students' eyes lit up with curiosity and eagerness as my teammates and I assembled them. It was a heartwarming moment to witness their enthusiasm and appreciation. We are incredibly grateful for these additions, which have transformed our reading corner into a cozy, inviting space.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWith 19 students in our classroom and four new beanbags, I've implemented a system to ensure everyone enjoys the cozy area at least once a week during quiet reading time. This system involves grouping the students so that each group has a turn to relax and read in the new space. Additionally, there are other opportunities for students to use this inviting area, fostering a love for reading and a sense of community.\r\n\r\nTo the generous donors who contributed to our project, we extend a heartfelt thank you. Your support has made a significant impact on our classroom, enriching the educational experience for each student. The new bookshelves and beanbags have truly enhanced our learning environment, creating a space where students can dive into books and let their imaginations soar.\r\nThank you once again for your invaluable contribution. Your generosity has not only provided physical resources but has also inspired a love for learning and reading in our students.","fullyFundedDate":1738602562145,"projectUrl":"project/cozy-book-nook/8938128/","projectTitle":"Cozy Book Nook!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Alexander","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9786145_orig.jpg?crop=1684,1684,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1727733288627","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9786145"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_27963","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":303,"numTeachers":27,"percentFrplEligible":36,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":29,"percentWhite":50,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":9,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"11.2:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_SMALL"},"inStateSupporters":89.2,"schoolId":27963,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Lincolnwood Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Lincolnwood Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/illinois/evanston-skokie-cmty-csd-65/lincolnwood-elementary-school/27963"}
