While the weather might not feel like winter, the sun setting at 4:30 definitely impacts students sense of time and sleep.\r\n\r\nIn addition, we have some projects coming up where students will be able to use the play dough to create vocabulary terms, landscape examples and letters, as a means to increasing their fluency with the English language. At least one class period per day both bean bags are in use, and students take time to decide which wobble cushion is the right squish factor for them.\r\n\r\nThe students also had fun setting up the optional seating arrangements. Some of them practiced jumping from continent to continent, while others tried to impress us with their strength in inflating the cushions. I had fun watching them be kids at heart, too.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for taking time to remember we all have different needs, and that having different ways to interact in class actually makes it easier for students to engage in the material.
