In our classroom, tech isn't just a screen: it's a camera, an editing suite, and a platform for their voices.\r\n\r\nHow this technology is driving learning\r\nThe equipment you provided has allowed us to launch Tiger TV, our very own student-led broadcast. Through this project, students aren't just \"learning\" about media; they are living it. They are mastering:\r\n\r\nTechnical Literacy: Students with very limited tech backgrounds are now operating high-end cameras and navigating complex editing software.\r\n\r\nJournalistic Integrity: They are learning to tell stories through the lens of our yearbook, capturing the school year in a way that feels authentic to them.\r\n\r\nAccountability: Because they are working on real-world deadlines for Tiger TV and the yearbook, they've developed a deep sense of responsibility. If one person doesn't show up with the SD card, the show doesn't go on: this has built an incredible \"team first\" mentality.\r\n\r\nWhat excites them most\r\nThe \"magic moment\" for my students is the playback. There is a visible spark of pride when they see their footage edited into a polished segment. For many, this is the first time they've seen their work look \"professional,\" and it has completely shifted their confidence levels.\r\n\r\nStudent Spotlights\r\nWe have seen a significant change in students who previously felt intimidated by technology. One student, in particular, started the year hesitant to even touch the camera. Today, they are one of our lead cinematographers, showing others how to frame shots and manage lighting.
