These were great discussions that often went over the twenty-five minutes provided! Our students left these reflection sessions with a working research question that they are continuing to refine as they further their research. This month they are tasked with note-taking and building a working bibliography of sources to help them answer their research question. So twice a week in their IB Theory of Knowledge 1 class, they have independent time to find additional sources and then read/take notes from those sources. \r\n\r\nThese research skills are an important part of preparing our students for college. They are currently learning how to use online databases, assess the credibility and reliability of sources, cite sources and organize their notes.
