IEP and 504 meetings can often be intimidating, overwhelming, or stressful for families and students. By offering refreshments the minute they walk in the door, we are able to instantly set a welcoming, supportive tone that puts everyone at ease.\r\n\r\nThe reactions from parents and students have been truly touching. When parents arrive, often nervous or exhausted, you can see their shoulders drop as they are offered a warm cup of coffee or tea. It communicates right away that they are valued partners and that this is a safe, compassionate space. Students especially light up at the sight of hot chocolate and snacks—it turns an intimidating meeting into a positive experience where they feel cared for and comfortable sharing their thoughts.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has done so much more than provide refreshments; it has helped us build stronger relationships and foster open communication with the families we serve.
