Our psychology and world studies course is transitioning to more project based learning which means regular access and use of laptops like Chromebooks is necessary. Students will use these devices to conduct research, use databases, access Google Classroom and the Google Suite of apps, receive feedback from their instructors, collaborate with their peers, share materials, watch and create content. They can also use them to apply for college, apprenticeships, scholarships, financial aid, and jobs. Our students need to be prepared to be 21st Century learners and thinkers, which means use of technology is critical. Students need exposure to as many resources as possible to thrive and be able to keep up with others in districts that are better resourced.
