Your support has made a powerful impact on my students. These books give them the chance to read texts filled with sounds and words they've learned—giving them the tools to feel confident and successful as readers. Students light up when they realize, \"I can read this!\" That feeling of success motivates them to keep going, to try harder, and to enjoy reading in a way that might not have been accessible to them before.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting things to see is how eager the kids are to borrow the books and take them home. They can't wait to show their families what they've learned and read aloud with pride. That joy and ownership over their reading is priceless. It's helping them see themselves as readers—not just in school, but in life.\r\n\r\nThe decodable chapter books have been especially meaningful. It's rare to find longer, more complex stories that are still controlled enough for developing readers to decode independently. These books give struggling readers the opportunity to engage with richer plots and characters without the overwhelming frustration of too many unfamiliar words. They can finally experience chapter books like their peers.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your kindness and support. Your gift has brought real joy and empowerment into our school.","fullyFundedDate":1743298293958,"projectUrl":"project/building-strong-readers-decodable-books/9013246/","projectTitle":"Building Strong Readers: Decodable Books for New Readers","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Papa","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp548367_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1456321024799","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/apapa"},{"teacherId":3956093,"projectId":8911172,"letterContent":"We are so thankful for your kind donations.
