My preschool students learn best through multisensory activities such as, songs, dances or games and from a more calm and relax classroom environment. All my preschool students will benefit from the Echo Dot that can play music efficiently during different Interdisciplinary activities that our component of our Creative Curriculum studies. A better sound system will allow us to efficiently store children’s music to use during specific activities to maximize our time available during each activity. In addition, using different oils and a diffuser will create a calm classroom environment impacting student's attention and learning. The sound system will be utilized during arrival, name signing and independent reading time. We will play soft/classical music to relax their mind and ease separation anxiety issues. During large gross motor activities music can be ready while students complete transitions. This sound system will be utilize during morning meeting, story time, dismissal time and transitions. Aromatherapy and a better sound system will help us to continue working on objectives are considered crucial components for each and every one of our student’s social-emotional development. Learning to use the different resources will help our students to continue building independent functioning skills and building community learners while taking care of our classroom materials. The donations for this project will improve my classroom by creating a more relaxing environment where every student has the ability to learn to love music while building life lasting skills and building a strong self-esteem.
