My 6th, 7th and 8th graders have been using old, worn-out or even broken headphones for years. With your donation, we are finally up with the times and current with our electronic devices and brand new headphones.\r\n\r\nI decided yo use the new headphones as incentive for my homeroom attendance. Each time the whole class is present, we mark a letter off on our sign: CLASS OF 2026. We are almost to the end of our attendance challenge where the prize is that the students will use the new headphones for the first time. Students with disabilities can have problems with focus and engagement in the classroom and the items provided in this donation can be a game changer for some students. \r\nThe fidgets were a HUGE hit with the kids! When we completed state testing I let them all pick a fidget to keep with them. They were so thankful and happy. I have been busy passing out the pencil grips to the students who need that extra help holding a pencil comfortably. \r\nThe kick bands are in place for my students who have those busy feet. These bands allow students to push and move their legs while seated giving them some comfort and increased focus. These kick bands are a great support for busy legs!\r\n\r\nThank you for choosing me and my students. This project has given my students peace of mind when locking up thier cellular devices and allowed them to better focus in class. The lockable file cabinet grants myself and my students a measure of security that we otherwise did not have in the classroom. Not only does it give me a safe space to lock up their personal devices, but it also provides a secure space for medical records, IEP's, and other personal documents insdie of my classroom. The students were thrilled to have a place they felt comfortable locking up thier belongings! When they entered the room and saw the cabinet, they cheered in excitment! Along with the cabinet we recieved durable folders, pencils (with working erasers), decorative bulletin board paper, and a heavy duty pencil sharpener, all of which has helped my classes become more organized and productive!\r\n\r\nAll of these donations would not have been possible without your generosity! We are so grateful that you chose to provide us with these blessings!
