As a third grade teacher, I must get students to read at grade level to be able to pass our benchmark test. Students need to build their independent reading skills to be able to successfully pass this important test. I think these comfy chairs will be a great draw to my classroom library space. We are getting some new books this year and I want to provide an alternative space for students to read. I can imagine that these bright chairs will be a place where all students want to be! The small tables will make it easy to read and write about their reading. We have daily drop everything and read to create a habit of reading.
