This year I was given the task to teach struggling kindergarten students. I teach students with disabilities and having multiple avenues for my students to learn is needed. I will not only be able to help my students with these materials for this year but for the coming years. \r\n I also teach students at multiple grade levels, these games and manipulatives can help out in those higher grades with students that need more support. This is a time for students to practice skills learned. I also am able to use these materials as a resource to work in small groups as well as for interventions. I am happy to report that I have more students in my classroom and less at home sick. The disinfecting wipes have helped with the cleanliness of the classroom. I have been able to clean and sanitize furniture and toys. My kiddos aren't getting as sick and my classroom has never been cleaner.\r\n\r\nThe emotional support toys and books have been a success in helping my students feel better when they are working through their emotions. Our calming corner has become more inviting and the books and emotional support toys have helped students identify and explain the emotions they are feeling at the moment. The books have also become very popular in our library. Now. the students can choose a book to explore and read to themselves or with a friend. The cute illustrations help my students understand the different emotions, which is very helpful since my students can not read at the moment. \r\nThe sensory strips and fidgets have helped some of my students stay focus when they are working at at the rug and/or at the table. \r\n\r\nThank you again for all you have done for my students, it means the world to me and my students.
