Our classroom is home to curious, creative, and enthusiastic students in kindergarten through eighth grade at a small public school on Chicago's South Side. These young learners bring unique personalities, talents, and perspectives into the classroom, making every day an opportunity to learn something new. For many students, Spanish class is their first opportunity to explore a new language and discover the rich cultures and traditions of Spanish-speaking countries. Through music, movement, games, hands-on activities, and meaningful conversations, students are encouraged to take risks, build confidence, and express themselves. Our classroom is more than a place to learn Spanish. It's a space where students can feel welcomed, supported, and inspired to explore the world beyond their own community. With the support of generous donors, we can continue creating an engaging and comfortable learning environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
