Your generosity has allowed my students to experience learning in a hands-on, exciting, and meaningful way. Their faces lit up when they saw the new materials, and they were immediately eager to touch, explore, experiment, and—most importantly—PLAY! We have been using the materials during our classroom studies to help students make real-world connections while strengthening important developmental and academic skills.\r\n\r\nOne of our favorite experiences has been using the hands-on \"Try This!\" materials. Students worked independently and alongside their classmates to manipulate objects, complete challenges, problem-solve, and figure out how different materials work. Our exercise materials have also been a huge hit! Students have been able to move their bodies, explore different types of exercise, and learn about keeping their bodies healthy and strong. These experiences are building fine and gross motor skills, communication, cooperation, critical thinking, and confidence—all while students are having fun learning.\r\n\r\nAnd we are not finished yet! As we continue exploring trees, water, exercise, and visiting the hospital, students will use our new materials for sensory exploration, gardening, dramatic play, movement, and other hands-on investigations.
