We are incredibly grateful for your kindness! When the snacks arrived, my students were very excited, and it was wonderful to see their smiles knowing that these were provided by people who wanted to support their classroom and their learning.\r\n\r\nFor my students, having snacks available during the school day makes a meaningful difference. Our days can be long and busy, and my students work hard during reading, math, science, social studies, and their individual learning activities. Having a snack gives them a chance to recharge and helps them return to their work feeling more comfortable and ready to learn. It also helps reduce distractions from hunger so that we can spend more time focusing on our lessons and classroom goals.\r\n\r\nAs a special education teacher, I have learned that meeting my students' basic needs is an important part of helping them succeed academically. Every student learns differently, and sometimes something as simple as having a snack and a short break can help a student regulate, refocus, and participate more successfully in the next activity. The snacks have become something my students look forward to, while also helping us build positive routines throughout our school day.\r\n\r\nYour donation has done more than fill our snack area—it has shown my students that there are people outside of our classroom who care about their education and want to see them succeed. As their teacher, that means so much to me as well.\r\n\r\nWe will continue using these snacks to support our students as they work toward their individual goals, practice new skills, and become more independent learners. Thank you for being part of our classroom and for making our days a little brighter. Your generosity is greatly appreciated by both my students and me!","fullyFundedDate":1779294599776,"projectUrl":"project/nourishing-students-supporting-success/10193206/","projectTitle":"Nourishing Students, Supporting Success","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Patrice Dacillo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9889073_orig.jpg?crop=432,432,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1736346409991","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9889073"},{"teacherId":6677377,"projectId":8231598,"letterContent":"This project allowed us to create a safe, warm, and welcoming school counseling area for all students in the entire K-8 school.
