Many of my students do not have a calculator of their own, so having graphing calculators that they can utilize during my class period has been a huge benefit to them! We have been using our new calculators daily and the students are discovering new functions that this technology is able to do for them.\r\n\r\nAs we have begun our unit on graphing linear equations, I have been working to show my students all the different ways they can use functions on the graphing calculators to help them complete their problems, or to check their work. Recently I was going through steps for how my students could use these calculators to create a table of values, and several of my students were amazed at how quickly the calculator could provide them with hundreds of values when they were used to taking a much longer time to create just five values. The amount of times I heard \"wow\" or \"this is so cool\" was truly amazing.
