Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences is an urban high school in Chicago, IL. Our school has a 40 acre working farm on campus. Students from all over the city commute to CHSAS to participate in unique agricultural programs like Animal Science, Horticulture, and Food Science. Of the 716 students, 18% receive Special Education Services and 42.3% of our students come from low income families. I teach a wonderful group of students with severe and profound disabilities. My students' ages range from 14-21.
