My students were amazed when they saw the new equipment and wanted to test it out right away. They asked where I got it and that they were excited to try new things. \r\n With the money that was raised, I bought a variety of equipment such as soccer goals, gymnastics equipment, track and field equipment, bowling balls, basketballs, basketball hoops, and much more. I am so grateful for the money that was raised so we could get this. My Kindergarten and 1st graders will be able to make baskets in PE by the hoop being lower and the basketballs being lighter. My 4th and 5th graders can actually practice shot put and discus with the equipment bought. My 2nd and 3rd graders can practice their gymnastics and balancing with the balance beam and cartwheel mat that was bought. \r\n My next steps are to use more/all of the equipment and for the students to become as versed in different sports and activities as I can get them to be. PE is good for their health, relationships, and self-esteem.
