The days of sitting still in your desk are over! Sure, there are times when being seated is necessary, which is why it's important to present students with flexible seating options. Allowing students to choose to sit in a chair, stool, soft seat, or scoop rocker will give them a voice in the classroom and provide them with seating that is more comfortable. I believe that when students feel comfortable in their learning environment, they will perform at their best. When students are given the tools and opportunities to perform at their best, we will see more growth and learning occurring in the classroom and in the school, as a whole.
