The middle school students saw the packages on the library desk as they started to arrive last spring. Excitement was bubbling over to learn that a contest involving READING and CUPCAKES was something coming in the next school year. \r\n\r\nAs students arrived this fall we were able to interact with several classes as they came to the library the first day of school. We explained how we would intertwine the book challenge with the Rebecca Caudill nominated books that Donors Choose provided. We've shown complete success by doubling our check-out stats during the first two weeks of school! We will also be using our reading program quizzes to monitor the individual growth throughout the year with the newest books on our collection.
